Mr Alvaro Bazo Morales graduated from the University of La Laguna Medical School in 1993. After a brief time in Ireland, he came to the United Kingdom in 1994. He completed his basic surgical training in the Manchester Region and East Yorkshire before moving to the East Midlands to focus on andrology and urology.
Mr Bazo is a consultant in urology at Nottingham City Hospital. He has been developing and managing the Andrology services within the Urology Department since 2006.
Alvaro trained under some of the most experienced and knowledgeable figures in surgical andrology in the UK, such as Mr Timothy Terry and Mr Ian Eardley. He settled in the East Midlands in 2006 and since then has been running one of the busiest andrology units in the UK at Nottingham City Hospital, where he provides a wide range of medical and surgical andrology treatments, including penile implant surgery.
Mr Bazo Morales have a particular interest in day case surgery including inguinoscrotal surgery, BPH surgery (bipolar TURP, urolift) as well as providing specialist care in penile cancer.
